Polyester |

| OptimaCast¢ā
/ Poly products have advantages in these characteristics; lightweight, strong,
radiolucent, and porous comparing with traditional plaster cast. Also cast removal generates dust which is lower in quantity and larger in particle size than the dust generated upon removal of a plaster cast. Exposure to moisture or water initiates a chemical reaction which causes the tape to become rigid. |
